Academic integrity 

The Academic Anchor operates in accordance with academic integrity standards.

We do NOT provide ghost-writing, complete assignments on behalf of our clients, or create original academic content intended to be submitted as the client’s own work. 

All services are intended to support the development and refinement of a client’s own writing. 

Clients remain responsible for ensuring that the use of editing or mentoring services complies with the academic regulations of their institution. 

Quotes and Pricing 

Prices are provided on a case-by-case basis depending on the length, complexity, and turnaround time of the document. 

Quotes are provided before work begins. Acceptance of a quote confirms agreement to the stated price and scope of service. 

Prices may vary depending on: 

  • Word count
  • Level of editing required
  • Deadlines
  • Complexity of the subject matter 

Payment terms 

Payment terms will be agreed before the commencement of work.

The Academic Anchor reserves the right to request full or partial payment in advance, particularly for new clients or large projects. 

Work may not begin until payment arrangements have been confirmed. 

Turnaround times 

Turnaround times are agreed at the time of booking and depend on document length and complexity. 

While every effort is made to meet agreed deadlines, clients are encouraged to submit work well in advance of submission deadlines. 

Client responsibilities 

Clients are responsible for: 

  • Providing accurate and complete documents 
  • Ensuring their work complies with instructional guidelines
  • Reviewing edited documents before submission 
  • Maintaining responsibility for the final submitted work 

The Academic Anchor does not guarantee academic grades or publication outcomes. 

Confidentiality

All documents and communications shared with The Academic Anchor are treated as strictly confidential. 

Client work remains the intellectual property of the client at all times and will not be shared with third parties.
